This conference is unique in its own way. It is mainly focused on doctoral students and young scientists. The aim of the conference is to deepen cooperation in science and research among participants and to transfer experience to young colleagues. For most of the participants, this is the first opportunity to present their scientific results, gain experience and establish contacts with colleagues from partner organizations, including foreign ones.
Conference history
The “BioPhys Spring” conference was established by Prof. Blahovec in 2002. At first, it was always held at Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague, but later we started to take turns organizing it with our partner organizations, Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra (Slovakia), Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Gödöllő (Hungary) and Institute of Agrophysics of Polish Academy of Sciences, Lublin (Poland). Since 2024, Institut Teknologi Nasional Bandung (Indonesia) has also joined the co-organizers. This year is the 25th anniversary of the conference and we will organize it in Prague in the CZU Hall. The importance of the conference is enhanced by the auspices of the Minister of Agriculture of the Czech Republic, Ing. Martin Šebestyán, and the Rector of CZU in Prague, prof. Michal Lošťák.
